COMSO supports the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) with dedicated software development expertise in support of the Agency’s critical Corporate Management Information System (CMIS).  Our developers are contributing to the design, development, and testing of the CMIS program and over 150 sub-applications in an Agile environment. COMSO immediately demonstrated the ability to integrate with our Government team, understand the customer environments, and start delivering.  

We are also providing software design, programming, and testing services for a non-profit service delivery network that provides technical assistance to community-owned water, wastewater, and solid waste utilities in 2,000 small rural communities. We developed the project data collection and reporting system in ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, Telerik UI, jQuery, LINQ, and JavaScript. Following its initial rollout, COMSO was reengaged by the customer for two successive enhancement efforts, providing a richer user experience and improved reporting for funding agencies.
         
IT Systems Integration


COMSO performs all aspects of systems integration for several intelligence community customers. We develop, manage, and sustain the enterprise IT infrastructure domains and systems that support mission, business, and IT infrastructure. Our engineers are responsible for the health and status of enterprise  IT components and infrastructure from the perspectives of the system, network, availability, capacity, and performance. COMSO is responsible for the architecting, testing, and deployment of new virtual infrastructures bringing Virtual Infrastructures and Thin Client solutions to the client organization. We ensure the highest levels of solution acceptance, cost satisfaction, and end-user engagement, enabling customers and users to fully leverage the enterprise systems services.

We have also provided systems integration support to the United States Geological Survey. We integrated emerging technologies such as cloud networks, load balancing, virtualization, and grid computing. Our engineers evaluated the VMware vCenter appliance and migrated from a Windows-based vCenter to the vCenter appliance; the migration included virtual machines, clusters, dvSwitches, custom VM attributes
 COMSO managed the hosting environment and provided support for third-party web mapping applications developed by business partners from various agencies and universities.

COMSO has helped Federal Government agencies develop Certification and Accreditation security certification packages, including test plans, test results, penetration testing, risk assessments, contingency plans, and final recommendations.

Since 1995, COMSO has supported the Government in providing desktop and help desk support resources. Our onsite technicians provide installation, configuration, and troubleshooting support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and all other peripherals. Our team performs troubleshooting for workstation failures within stringent time frames. We replace hardware, verifying that it works correctly and ensuring that the user's workstation is back to its original level of functionality prior to the breakdown. Our technicians troubleshoot for software incompatibility, perform printer management, and respond to and resolve all communications or computer trouble calls.  We assist local and remote users, providing daily onsite on-call pager support.  Our installation team members support their customers from the initial contact, where the customer's need is determined, and serve as customer liaison throughout the installation process.  When the installation is complete, our technicians train the users in new software applications and the upgraded desktop environment.

Our team has already successfully operated and maintained service desk support for various  customers with great success.  Our support  activities follow ITIL and Help Desk Institute (HDI) industry standards and best practices. We will perform to service level agreements (SLAs) negotiated between you and your customers.

As a member of the ITSM Alliance small-business joint venture, COMSO provides 24x7x365 ITIL-based Service Desk support to a major Federal customer for two geographically separated global enterprise command centers.
