Hal Scott, Director for Military Outreach for the Maryland State ESGR Committee, presented COMSO COO Lisa Goodman with ESGR’s Patriot Award at COMSO’s quarterly All-Staff meeting. The award recognizes supervisors and bosses for support provided directly to a nominating Service member.
Lisa was nominated by Cory Pugh, a United States Army Reservist employed by COMSO from March 2012 through February 2019. During his 7-year employment, Cory was deployed overseas three times, twice to Kuwait and, the last time in 2017, to Iraq.
During the award ceremony, COMSO pledged to continually recognize and support our country’s Service members and their families in peace, in crisis, and in war. Signed by Jacqui Magnes, COMSO CEO, the pledge also recognizes, honors, and complies with the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).
