COMSO started donating to Wreaths Across America in 2017 and we are excited to share that in 2021 we almost tripled our original wreath donations. This year, COMSO exceeded our goal of 200 wreaths! We donated 225 wreaths. The mission of Wreaths Across America is Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach our children the value of freedom. A few ceremonies were cancelled this year due to safety concerns. However, CEO Jacqui Magnes and her family laid wreaths at the Annapolis National Cemetery in Annapolis, Maryland.
Jacqui Magnes says, “For those of you who have placed a wreath on a veteran’s grave, you understand the overwhelming feeling of reverence and respect for that soldier who willingly chose to risk his/her life for our freedom. It amazes me that I have that feeling every time I place a wreath on a grave. I personally don’t know the person who is buried under the marker, but I am deeply grateful for the sacrifice that he or she made for our country.”
