Depending on which Service you’re transitioning from, you can be granted up to 180 days of permissive duty to focus solely on training full time in high-demand IT jobs to kick off your civilian career.  You will work alongside skilled IT professionals and experts to learn on the job and in your field. Start building your industry credentials while continuing to receive your military compensation and benefits. Release for permissive duty must be authorized by your unit Commander.

Our program gives you the chance to build your skills as an IT professional before you separate from active duty, so you are fully prepared personally and professionally for your transition into civilian life.
